Today, you will work with your team to read a section of your Texas History Book.
1. Mrs. Pumphrey will assign your team a section of the lesson to read and become experts.
The sections are:
- The Last Days of the Republic
- Texas Joins the United States
- The Constitution of 1845
- Texas Grows
- The Call of the Land
- The New Texans
2. You will use your chart to write down important information about your section.
3. Then you will do a blog post with your section as the title. Your blog will have all of the stuff that you are important (main ideas), at least one picture, and a reference for where you got your information and picture.
4. Visit your classmates' blogs to read about the other sections and add to your graphic organizer.
