This blog is all about what you are thankful for in your life. I want you to write at least three claims with evidence about people, places, or things that you are thankful for. Then, lift your writing by adding to those facts like we have in our literary essays.
- I am thankful for each of you because you are amazing and you continue to persevere to learn new things. I know this because I watch how you are trying new things and working to master your goals. In other words, your perseverance is amazing to watch. I am constantly bragging about how amazing you are and what you are doing in class.
- I am thankful for the staff at Woodrow Wilson because they are always supportive and fun. My evidence is that we find ways to make each day fun and celebrate each other. As I am writing this, I 'm realizing that this staff is more like a family than a school. We enjoy spending time together, and we look forward to seeing each other.
- I am thankful for Mr. Nabors because he makes me laugh and helps me enjoy life. This is important because life can be hard and it is important to have someone who can help you. An example of this is when I get frustrated with our dogs, he finds a way to make the whole thing funny, and we are able to work through it together. Laughter is so important and I realize he brings me a lot of joy.
